Arriving in sunny San Diego back in 1996, I had big dreams of one day owning my own business;  I soon discovered I lacked the capital to make my dream a reality during that time in my life.  

So... I did what many people in their early 20s do -  I took a job to pay the bills and told myself to put the dream of owning a business out of my mind for the time being.  My first "real" job in San Diego was working for one of the country's largest homebuilders, where I learned about residential construction.  

From there, I was given an opportunity to work in their design center; A few years later, I went to work for one of the top design centers in San Diego and loved working there until my son was born in 2005.  At that time, I decided to take a hiatus from my career and focus on raising my family.

Over the years, I have maintained my professional relationships within the industry, and today,  I am proud to say that I have fulfilled my dream of running my own interior design business for the past several years.
